Ideals make life precious

'Human life' has no value without ideals. It is our moral duty to maintain dignity of values of life. There is no need to search for it.

One of the judges of United States of America, Rolf Kohan was a religious and a conscientious person. Before leaving for the court, he used to pray to the 'Almighty', so that justice couldn't be ignored in any of the judicial cases. One day, he was supposed to go through a special hearing. He left his home for the court. On the way, he saw a person, who had met with an accident and was floundering on the ground. He stopped his car and took the injured to the hospital. He was late by half an hour in reaching the court. On reaching there, he found his chamber jam-packed and the counsels of both the parties were eagerly waiting for him. He bowed before his chair and started addressing the people, gathered there. He said, 'I couldn't reach the court in time, due to the fulfillment of my personal responsibilities. I take apology for the inconvenience caused and impose a penalty of 50 Dollars on me'. At this, the assistant of the judge said, 'Sir, why you consider yourself to be guilty for the delay caused, due to the shifting of the injured person to the hospital'? The judge replied, 'Don't discuss about all this in the open court. It was my duty and I fulfilled it. I was supposed to reach the court, in time, but, failed to do so. 'Each & Every' person, present in the chamber was amazed on his conscientiousness.Generally, we fail to develop colloquial character

in our life due to the feeling of self interest and lack of knowledge. If we learn to remain neutral, there is no reason, why we shall not be able to fulfill our responsibilities. We, ourselves, are responsible for the creation of many problems in our life and pray to the 'Almighty' for their solution. What an ironical situation! Today, we have to face many problems, which have been created by us. Is it not our duty to get rid of these problems? If we take an initiative to move forward embellishing our own family, it shall be a wonderful opportunity for us to fulfill our responsibilities towards the society and the nation, as a whole, as a family is a unit of society. If we continue it, even in the present scenario, we shall become entitled for the blessings of the 'Almighty'. We are required to strengthen these thoughts through our deep devotion thereby creating 'will power', within us. It is a fundamental formula of social joy, peace & prosperity and mental peace can be attained through it. 'Human Life' has no value without ideals. It is our moral duty to maintain dignity of values of life. There is no need to search for it. It depends on our behavior, whether to come in grip of problems with self benefitted reasons or perform good deeds and lead a peaceful and a happy life. If we remain concerned about our own benefits and joy, it is a clear indication that we are going to face sorrow in our later life. We have to fulfil our responsibilities honestly, so as to lead a happy and a prosperous life.

Always remain ‘Compassionate’ to Others

Supreme Saint Bhitrahari used to visit various places and inspire people to become a true human being. Generally, he used to say that we are fortunate enough to be blessed with human life.
The significance of life is entrusted in good deeds, such a s religious devotion and service activities. Initially, we must try to be good human beings. One day, a devotee asked him about the difference between human beings. Bhritrahari replied that human beings belong to four categories. It can be divided according to the nature and deeds, performed by them. Firstly, those, who engage
themselves in the welfare activities of others, the second category belonging to those, who feel greatly satisfied, while working for the welfare of others . Such humans are known as revered people. The third category is of those people, who never hesitate to become a cause for the suffering of others and last, but not the least, those, who cause grievances to others. There are no words to describe such inhumans. He further added, that we must engage ourselves in the welfare activities of others, to be a true human being. There is an important rule of human nature. By following this rule, we shall always be surrounded by an unlimited number of friendsand remain happy, but the moment, we fail to follow it, we are entangled with difficulties. It is awish of every person, to be praised by everyone.

The said wish results in the development of human civilization. For centuries, Saints and Philosophers have been reflecting on the role of the human relations and the formula developed out of it, is new. It is as old as history. Even in the families, the elderly people have been providing the same knowledge, for centuries. Some thousand years back, the sacred scriptures of the Hindus interpreted the said formula. Presenting this formula as a thought in short, 'Lord Jesus' said, 'Try to behave with others in the same manner, as you expect from them'.
